Friendships and family can be fickle. One minute they love you, the next they’re mad, and two days later they’re acting like they didn’t just snap on you over something small. Relationships can start with butterflies and heart‑eyes, but before long that lovey‑dovey feeling fades and you’re left juggling love, regret, and a side of confusion wondering… what happened?

Human love is inconsistent. It shifts. It changes. It can be here today and gone tomorrow. But here’s the comfort, God’s love is nothing like that. John 3:16 (NLT) reminds us, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son…” Psalm 136:26 declares, “His faithful love endures forever.” And Ephesians 2:4–5 tells us, “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much…”

Scripture after scripture points to the same truth: God’s love is everlasting, unwavering, and unconditional. What a beautiful thing to be loved by Someone who will never leave you or forsake you. God sees you when you’re up, comforts you when you’re breaking, and wraps you in grace even when you fall short. This is a love we could never earn, yet He gives it freely. A love that covers flaws, forgives mistakes, and holds us steady when everything else feels shaky.

So on this Valentine’s Day, whether you’re boo’d up, married, healing, or single… remember this: You are cherished. You are chosen. You are irreplaceable in the eyes of God.
