Sunday Royal Tea Time (Queen’s Let’s Reflect) Covered, Strengthened, Protected: Scriptures to Anchor You This Week

Some weeks you have to pause and remind yourself to get rooted in the Word, not because you’re failing, but because life is loud. Distractions, frustrations, stress… they creep in quietly and before you know it, your spirit feels stretched thin.So this week, I had to pull myself back. It was a rough week for sure. Through my tears, I had to remind myself that God’s Word is not optional it’s my anchor. It’s the place where I feel calm, my mind quiets, and my strength returns. Below are a few scriptures that help me remember who God is to me, His love, His covering, His protection, and the truth that He always goes before me. So grab your “leave me alone it’s quiet time” mug along with your Bible and come sit with me.

Romans 8:38–39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 36:7 How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.

1 John 4:16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

Deuteronomy 31:8 Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Isaiah 45:2 I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.

Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

So this week’s tea: Grab your Bible, slow down, and let yourself get rooted in God’s word this week and all the time. Because no matter what you’re facing, His Word will always be your anchor, steady, unshakable, and strong enough to hold you through anything. Keep the faith!
